Field Service Engineer

Your tasks:

  • After intensive preparation, independent execution, both in-house and abroad, of service calls, machine modernizations and start-ups with the service team

  • Independent adaptation, development, commissioning and error analysis of machine control programs with the machine control systems

  • Our lines are equipped with B&R and Bosch motion control systems and Omron PLC systems

  • Contact with customers and independent control via remote support

What you bring:

  • Training in the field of electronics or electrical engineering (e.g. as an electrician, electronics technician), mechatronics engineer or comparable qualification

  • Experience with one or several of the following: Siemens Step 5, Step 7, (safety integrated), Tia V13 -15, Win CC Flexible, WinCC comfort, Simotion Scout/ Starter, Rockwell PLC5 /RS Logix, 3S Codesys, AMK Aipex, Beckhoff Twincat 2/3, Schneider Vijeo designer, ASI/Profibus, B&R, Bosch, Omron

  • Many years of professional experience in design, R&D or as a service technician for paper processing equipment and or knowledge and skills in automation acquired in other ways is an advantage

  • Experience in project coordination

  • Experience in handling drive technology, Siemens, Sinamics, AMK, Schneider (Elau) and bus systems, such as: Profibus/Net, ASI Bus, Can Bus is an advantage

  • High level of commitment, independent and responsible working style

  • Team player with service and customer orientation, strong communication skills

  • Goal- and solution-oriented thinking and acting, open for changes and innovative

  • High willingness to travel, place of residence can be within Europe, driving license class B

  • Very good English language skills, written and spoken
